Sunnyvale update
Dear Friends of Carmen,
I so appreciate the support from everyone. During this time, my mom needs her rest and is not answering her phone for that reason. If you would like to contact Carmen please send a card to her Sunnyvale address. You can also reach me by email as I know everyone wants to know updates. My email is kmarbaut@sbcglobal.net. Please know that I will now be spending as much time as possible with my mom and when I can respond to an email I will take time to do that.

To paraphrase, Surfer Magazine photographer, Matthew Clark -- From the east comes the light; at times it shines so brightly that we’re almost blinded by it. At those times we’re saturated in its warmth and we long for its glow as darkness envelops us. The light creates reflections and shadows and every color of the spectrum. We owe our lives to the light. It can seem common, yet it is colossal; the fundamental piece of the puzzle. Its energy makes our world and we are so fortunate to be able to dance with it and experience its warmth during our journey on the earth.

Kelly, Carmen is blessed to be surrounded with your love and light. Carm, I love you. Just returned from a family reunion of 25 relatives spanning ages 18 months to 95.7 years, held at what's been the clan's home in Washington state for 5 generations. Freshly reminded of the power and beauty of intergenerational links, all sharing in a continuous flow of lineage and rock-solid bonds. You and Kelly are part of an unending flow of interconnected being, memory, and consciousness that cannot be broken.
My thoughts and heart are right with you both on this bright Kailua morning, and forward. I'll have another dedication for you on tonite's show.
