Yay...each day I feel stronger, and everything is healing. My daughter, Kelly called today, and she is driving up for the weekend, and then son Quincy,wife, Jen, + 2 grandkids; Drew and Katie are coming tomorrow....it will be a family reunion. Nothing else to report as of now, am just happy to be able to enjoy the weekend.

I had been a harpist and music teacher living on the island of Kauai for 7 years, and then my lung collapsed as of May 2, 2007. I had to be wisked off the island, taken away in oxygen and sent to Stanford Medical in Palo Alto, Calif. After 3 gruelling weeks of draining my lung, a chest tube inserted, and biopsys, ct scans, etc. they came up with cancer in the lining of my lung and the lining of my abdomen. treatment will begin as soon as they know what and where it came from.

Oh, and a really fun 1st birthday party for my grandson! Austin and his brother, Adam (yes, their whole family names start with "A"), played "Yellow Submarine" for a sing-along, along with some other cute songs for the babies to "sing" to. Now I know why you love your grandkids so much!!! Have a fun time out on the town!!
